A Plinky Game Lets me Drop Balls in Holes

 Sometimes a game is just fun.  It isn't blow-you-away-cool or super awesomely designed.  It doesn't have a ridiculous amount of bells and whistles, and it doesn't shine your shoes.  But it keeps your attention, it's challenging, it develops, and it has enough options to keep it interesting.

This is Plinky Game by Marco Ferraguti, a throw back to the old peg-and-ball games we played as kids.  And as adults on the price is right.  

Domino's Adventure (is to roll around on the ground)

If you've dreamed of controlling a wildly cute little ball rolling animatedly through a cartoon landscape, today is your lucky day.

Domino's Adventure ain't gonna break any records on the iTunes store. It isn't a groundbreaking app. But the controls are fun, the gameplay is engaging, and it throws enough fun twists in to keep things interesting. Not a bad way to blow $0.99.
