It Takes Two To "Tango" (Video Call)

 I love Face Time. But the app has some serious drawbacks. It doesn't work over 3g, and it's tied exclusively to Apple products.

But there's always the app store, and Tango is probably the best and most effective video conferencing application I've seen to date. It works so well because it is built based on telephone numbers. It asks you to input your mobile number at the launch of the app, and this number functions as your identifier.

What this means is that Tango can look into your address book and immediately look for any other numbers that are associated with Tango accounts. So when a friend registers for Tango, they automatically show up in your contacts list.

Pretty genius. No more bugging friends for screen names…you can immediately see who is available.
