iCab Mobile..an alternative alternate web browser

The built-in safari web browser on the iPad is lacking. That's why I'm always on the look out for an alternate web browser. Up until now, I have been a huge fan of Atomic web, but I think iCab may become my default iPad web browser.

A few features: See a list of multiple pages and switch instantly. Open new tab easily. Hide all but the tab you want to look at…

More than that, though, the app is just downright fast and has a ton of settings and options that aren't available on other browsers. Throw in the dropbox setting for cloud sharing, and you're good to go.

Real Racing 2 HD…the graphics make the difference

In case you didn't know already, I'm a huge racing fan. So when real racing two came out for the iPad, I couldn't wait to jump in and get my race on.

The game has over thirty licensed cars, fifteen different locations and about ten hours of career mode gameplay.

The big game changer with this app on the iPad 2 vs. iPad 1 is the graphics. It's a beautiful game with lots of fun gameplay…and it comes Mr. Pence approved.

Speedball Two: Evolution! (The Two Means it's Cooler)

Speedball was a great game on the Commodore 64. Or at least that's how I remember it.

This updated sequel is pretty damn awesome too. The gameplay is pretty simple…just crush your opponent.

There are a couple different ways to control the game and a few cool features, but this one is all about game play. And it's highly addictive.

There are some problems. For example, you have to use matching devices and wi-fi for the multi-player mode. Still, this is a great app and comes highly recommended.

I love challenging, fun games, and Tiny Wings most definitely fits the bill.

The basic premise is simple s you're a bird with…you guessed it…tiny wings. As you coast from hill to hill, you have to move as fast as you can and collect as many stars as possible.

The music is fun, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is beyond addictive. Download at your own risk.

U Connect has NOTHING to do with Social Networking

I have made it no secret that I love time waster games. I also like puzzle games, though I get easily frustrated and feel like throwing my phone across the room.

U Connect fulfills my need for each of these games and, somehow has kept from frustrating me to the level of some other games. Maybe it's the game's simplicity, and maybe it's the low-pressure interface with very few bells and whistles. Either way, I really like this game.

Basically it's a simple "connect the dots" game. Your goal is to trace the entire figure without repeating any lines. This can get difficult, but luckily there is no unnecessary rules or "limited lives" thrown in to make you suicidal.

It's been pointed out to me that this isn't the only game of its kind in the app store, and there are others like it with (possibly) better graphics or features. Me, though, I'm happy with this version. So I'll stick with it.

There are certain apps that will change your life forever. And this isn't one of them.

Once you get past that, you can focus on the ridiculous hilarity of the app. And it's not what you think. No, this is a fully human beat box, complete with a consigned face for you to abuse and make noise with at will.

Change the speed to create a 3-stooges-style masterpiece. I see a new YouTube sensation popping up very soon.

Gun it to 88! BACK TO THE FUTURE ON THE iPAD!

No, ladies and gentlemen, this is a sequel to the Back to the Future trilogy complete with a new story and fantastic attention to detail and the rules of the universe.

While I've only played the first of five installments of this game, the best compliment I can give it is that this might…just might…be a worthy story-sequel to three of my favorite movies of all time.

It's all here--from the DeLorean to the main characters to the mind-melting world of time paradoxes. But instead of rehashing old material, it continues the story in the spirit of the originals. So sit back, relax, and gun it to 88. There's a brand new Back to the Future story to explore.

NBA Jam - I believe I can fly

EA Sports is doing an amazing job with mobile gaming on the iPhone and iPad, and NBA Jam is really no exception.

The game has multiple game options including a "play now" and "classic campaign" feature. What really stands out for this game, though, are the dunks. And the gameplay, and the animation.

But really the dunks. Watch the video and you'll understand. Boomshakalaka!

Angry Birds secret level Super Bowl AD

Did you see it? It was pretty quick. Everyone's favorite game got a little Super Bowl glory. Hidden in the Rio film promo was a clue to unlock a secret football shaped golden egg. Once you beat that level you can enter to win a trip to the film's premiere.

Here's how to do it:

First you need to be at least able to access the level 5. Ham 'Em High.

Once there you want to access level 13-12.

Fire that first yellow bird. You don't need him.

Take the next bird and fire him backwards. Release his egg bomb right before he goes off screen. You got to be pretty quick.

You will then see the football shaped golden egg, in the golden egg menu.

From there you can play the secret level!

Have fun.
