Game Table on iPad: One Tiny Step Forward for Tabletop Gaming

I'll be honest...this app kinda sucks. There is no AI to play against, and it doesn't behave based on programming and rules. Instead, this one is a set of interactive pieces and boards to be manipulated however the user sees fit.But in some ways that's kinda cool. There's the freedom and flexibility to do whatever you want and play by your own rules. What's most important, though, is the implications this app has for tabletop gaming. Board games are tailor-made for the iPad, and I'd expect to see almost every major release take full advantage of the device. I can't wait.
