Ego Strokes Mine

I know….it probably took you a few times reading that headline to realize I wasn't being dirty.  But no, Ego isn't the newest risque app to hit apple's puritanical shores.  Instead, it's a really simple and clever way to track your presence on the web.

The app is basically a set of widgets that allow you to track input from google analytics and feedburner feeds as well as information from twitter and a slew of other services.  Where this one succeeds isn't in its depth, but its breadth.  I can launch one app and find out how all my twitter accounts and websites are doing, and with single clicks I can move between different sets of information.  There is a lot of info that isn't here, but when you're checking your hit count on a phone, you probably just need a quick update.  Now you can get that for all your sites and accounts with a single click.
