Remember the olden days when we dreamed that one day we'd just have to say something to our computers and they would type it all out for us? Then remember the early days of dictation software when there were hilarious typos galore? Well, Dragon Dictation for the iPhone brings us closer to that promised future.
It's a super simple dictation program that just...well...works. Talk into the mic and this program will type out your dictation, complete with punctuation, capitalization, and pretty good accuracy. It isn't perfect, but nothing ever is.
Send your dictated text as an email or text, or add the text to your clipboard and paste it into any program. The software even gives you the ability to edit right then and there using the iPhone's popup keyboard. Now if only it had the ability to save dictations and navigate back to the main menu, we'd be set.

When speaking, add punctuation by saying it - comma puts in a comma. Period puts in a period, etc. This is a great app to use for blogs - just speak your update, copy it, and paste it in your blog! It's best to keep your dictations short (less processing time), and string them together for longer entries.
