I Am T-Pain, and so can you be.

Now it seems the tech savvy singer has latched onto the iPhone as his newest way to win over new fans, showing off just how little talent he really has by giving us an app that pitch-shifts and changes your voice so you sound just like him.
How much will it cost to mimic your favorite artist's voice? Why, a measley $2.99. For that you get a number of T-Pain's favorite tracks and the ability to record your stylings.
Use headphones for the best results and sing along with Mr. Pain, or kick it freestyle to show your skills. If you want to spend even more money, you can buy additional songs that let you duet with the Pain-Man himself.
To be honest, it's really goofy and annoying to sing right into the iPhone mic while also trying to read. The record and playback features are nice, and I really enjoy the incorporation of email, facebook etc...I just wish that the technology was used for something...well...different. I'm all for goofy frivolity, though. To each his own.
In the end, this review doesn't matter. It isn't about usability or interface design; it's about the T-Pain! And if you need to carry him around in your pocket, this is probably the best way to do it.
God help us all.
