Baseball Slugger - Nothing Foul about it!

I've always love Baseball games. The reason? Because I always sucked at the real thing as kid. Playing baseball on the digital level ANYONE could play. So I spent countless hours in my early digital career playing baseball with awesome graphics of the Intellivision.

I've been sort of perplexed why a full-featured console-quality baseball game has not been released yet on the iPhone. The horsepower is there, the controls are there and mutilplayer would be a breeze. Well, until a full-featured baseball game comes out, I will be filling the gap with Baseball Slugger.

Baseball Slugger is basically a Home Run Derby that allows you to either play by yourself or to compete with people all over the world. The single player mode is fun and allows to purchase upgradeables like sunglasses, hair styles and the like.

The REAL shining point in this game is the match-up mode. This is when you go head-to-head with other sluggers from all over the world. Baseball Slugger does a great job with the mulitplayer as it insets the other player you are competing against in the corner of the screen. The Match-Up gameplay is cool, addictive and easily the best part of this game. The graphics and sound are incredible and the controls are easy to get used to.

So if you're a digital baseball junkie and you like to compete with folks all over the world, Baseball Slugger is for you.
