At the limited-time price of $1.99, Smallware’s Solebon Solitaire, version 2.1, is the ultimate collection of Solitaire games for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app was a nominee for 2008 Best Traditional Game, though Texas Hold’em edged them out for the title.
Notable features include: easy to read screens, in-game instructions, scoring, unlimited undo function, foundation auto play, tap card movement, and reverse card layout for all you lefties out there. This app compiles statistics such as how many times you’ve played each game and the percentage of times that you’ve won. It also features color selection for the background and the cards. The feature that I love the best about this app is that there is zero interference with my iPod audio. I can seamlessly listen to all my favorite music even as I switch from Demon to Klondike solitaire.
Avid solitaire aficionados will recognize many of the 40 solitaire titles available in this collection: Accordion, Aces Up, Agnes Sorel, Ambrose, Askew, Baker’s Game, Baker’s Game Easy, Beleaguered Castle, Blind Alleys, Bouquet, Colorado, Creepy Crawly, Demon (My Personal Favorite!), Doublets, Eight Off, Eight Off Easy, Fanny, Fortune’s Favor, Four Seasons, Fourteen Out, Free Cell, Free Cell Easy, Golf (another favorite of mine), Honeybees, Klondike Deal 1, Klondike Deal 3, La Belle Lucie, Lady of the Manor, Monte Carlo, Penguin, Provisional, Pyramid, Pyramid Easy, Russian Revolver, Scorpion, Spiderette, Spiderling, Spiderling 2 Suits, Triple Mulligan, and Yukon. Can’t decide which solitaire game to play? No Problem! Just scroll to the bottom of the list of available titles and choose Random Game --- that simple!!!
I purchased this app in April when it was specially priced at $.99 to replace my Sol Free Solitaire app, which is available for free. I figured that if I loved the free version with only 6 games, I was sure to adore the paid version with 40. And whether you purchase it now while it’s still on sale or later when it returns to full price, which I’ve heard is $9.99, it’s a price well paid either way. I’ve played each of the 40 games at least once, and while I haven’t mastered them all yet, I’m gonna have a damn good time trying. Sorry, Mr. Pence, but the housework isn’t likely to be to your standards for some time to come. I’ll have to make it up to you in some other way… (hint, ladies, homemade lasagna or crunchy chicken fingers work wonders in my house!)You can buy Solebon Solitaire HERE.

has anyone been able to finish fanny. I have been able to complete all but fanny. Is it possible to complete?
I've finished them all at least once except Fanny too. It's driving ne nuts. Great app though, the most well-used on my iPhone.
Yes, please! Someone offer some tips for completing Fanny. I've played it more than 200 times and my best strategy is admittedly a losing one. Thanks!
