Let's Golf! - A hole in one.

lg_hdrlg_iconI've tried to play a few REAL golf games in life. It seems like a fun sport. It's just YOU against the COURSE. It's definitely a sport that requires a lot of free-time, which I currently don't have. The next best thing is playing golf on a console or a hand-held. I started out playing Leaderboard Golf on the Commodore 64 and have worked my way to current day Tiger Woods. These games are fun, but I'm a sucker for crazier titles like Hot Shots! or WiiSports golf. Well, I'm glad to say, I have found a fun little golf game for the iPhone called Let's Golf from Gameloft.

The controls are easy to learn. The controls are easy to learn.

Let's Golf! doesn't take itself to seriously. It's just a fun and easy golf title. It's more in the spirit of Hot Shots golf for the PSP, than Tiger Woods. The controls are easy to learn and the music and graphics are great. The multiplayer works great over wi-fi and the little touches Gameloft adds make this a really fun title. I know I have stated this before, but I love it when developers give you the option of rotating the iPhone so your hand doesn't obstruct the speaker. The only complaint that I have, is that I wish you had more characters to choose from.

I love games that don't take themselves seriously. I love games that don't take themselves seriously.

However, I don't think this title will be for everyone. This is not a Tiger Woods style golf game. As I stated earlier, it's more of a Hot Shots like experience. While that might turn some people off, I like that style of golf game. So, If you like WiiSports golf or Hot Shots, I would definitely check out Let's Golf! If you're the "serious" golf gamer, it might not be for you. However, I'm betting you'll download it anyway. Why? Because it's too damn fun. Once again, Gameloft has kicked out a winner.

You can buy Let's Golf! HERE.
