This App is HARD-CORE - That's What SHE Said!

I love me some dumb apps.  At this point in our relationship, constant reader, that should come as no surprise.  I've told you that Hammer Time was "too legit to quit," I've unabashedly poked iGirl on camera, and I've even gone so far as to put forward a full review of an application aptly titled Light.

Now we come to the main event.  An app so idiotic, so simple, and so crude that only a baboon could enjoy its allure.  Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am that baboon.  Because That's What She Said by Haven Interactive rocks my world of juvenile, punny, inappropriate humor.

So, here's how it works.  You're sitting around the conference table with a group of co-workers, waiting for your chance to strike.  The app is launched and sits on your lap at the ready.  The conversation goes something like this.

Boss: And we need to get our quarterly reports uploaded to the system as soon as possible.  That goes for all of you.

Co-Worker: I've been having some issues with my reports. And this last one...I haven't been able to get it up at all!

You see the opportunity and hit the large, round button.  It's the only reason for the app's existence.  And then a man's voice wafts through the air.

"THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!"

Everyone looks on in horror.  You smile.  You know you'll be packing your bags by the end of the day, but it was worth it.  It was worth it just to see the look on your boss's face.

Of course, the TWSS app could be better.  The voice is well-done, and the different, random inflections are nice, but why not allow me to record my own TWSS soundbytes?  Or pick from a series of voices?  Why not let me pick my favorite intonation for a particular occasion instead of offering only random readings?

Ah well, the app is free.  I will simply count my blessings that there are app developers with my own fourth grade sense of humor.  Sometimes you just have to take an app at face value and appreciate is just as it is, even if it doesn't satisfy completely...
