Tap Tuesday News Brief: Your iPhone might soon Flash you.

Hello, all, today is Tuesday. And you know what happens on Tuesdays at TapCritic? That's right...
TAP TUESDAY NEWS BRIEF!

So let's get to it, shall we?

First off, it appears Adobe and Apple are working together to solve the problem of bringing Flash to the iPhone.  So far no timeline has been given, and both sides are talking about the ridiculous challenge involved, so stay tuned. Check out Apple Insider for all the details.

A couple of interesting statistical stories hit this week. Network World reports that the iPhone has taken 1.1% of the global mobile phone market.  The iPhone is  also now the most popular mobile gaming platform.  It's what I've always said: Apple is in phase three of its plot to take over the world.

Could Apple be planning a new app store section for crazy-cool $19.99 games?  Pocketgamer seems to think so, but it's a rumor so take it with a grain of salt.

And finally a shoutout to Joost, an application that has passed the one million download mark.  The app provides thousands of hours of video content.  We're working on an awesome review of this one as we speak.  Thanks to Top iPhone News for the story.

Why was Flash really an issue for the iPhone in the first place. Something about it draining battery? Seems like a no brainer to me.
