Pocket Arnold: Pumping up your iPhone and inappropriately touching iGirl

If there is one thing I love in life, it's some Arnold Schwarzenegger.  His ridiculous accent.  His amazing one-liners.  His terrible (for the most part) movies.  And I was thinking the other day, "Gee, I wish I could take a little piece of Arnold with me everywhere I go."

Thanks to manta innovations, that dream is now a reality.  

He's so sexy, even in cartoon format.

Pocket Arnold is a simple app.  Remember a few years ago when those kids were using online sound boards of celebrities to prank call random people?  That's what this is, only portable. You have a board laid out before you.  Each button is categorized as a greeting, a command, a name, exclamation etc.  The goal is to make it easy to select any type of statement you can think of for any response to any question.

But this app is not for prank calling.  Not at all.  That would be irresponsible...um...yeah...

However you use it, be sure to use it with reckless abandon and unabashed glee.  Push any button, and Arnold's voice (sampled from his classic repertoire of films) says a short soundbyte.  There are three pages of clips, so there are a lot of samples to choose from.

Feeling lucky?  Click the hilariously overdone cartoon image of Arnold's disembodied head and the app randomly picks a quote for you.  

There are lots of fun quotes, but two of my favorites were left off.  The first is from the immortal "Kindergarten Cop."  Arnold's character has reached his breaking point, a life-altering headache coursing through his cranium.  When questioned about his neurological health, he belts out with ferocity, "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!"

The second comes from the filmic adaptation of the great Richard Bachman (Steven King, to the layperson) novel "The Running Man."  After dispensing with a nasty baddie gladiator named SubZero, Arnold stares into the camera and gives the greatest one-liner in the history of cinema.

"Sub Zero!  Now...PLAIN zero!"

I would like to see these lines included in the next update.

The app is more fun than it should be.  I know, reading this review, it seems silly and unnecessary, and it is. But come on, it's called POCKET ARNOLD and it's a mere $.99 on the iTunes store.  Worth the money, I think.  And if you disagree with me--"Hasta la vista, baby." 

(and then you shatter into a thousand pieces of frozen liquid metal)

Actually, you can use this during a phone call on your iphone. I just did it the other day. I put the call on speaker, pressed the menu button and opened the program. In fact I had to lower the volume because it was too loud for my friend to understand. FYI.
