USA Today - One news app to rule them all.

Really after a few moments with this app, all my other news apps got the big delete.

After testing and reading about all the news apps lately, I figured I would drop the heavy hitter with USA Today.

USA Today did a great job. The interface is very intuitive and snappy. And every article has a little icon; I don't like books with all words.

They use the pretty common dock layout for the major sections of the program. All your Headlines, Scores, Weather, Pictures and Snapshots are served up Apple style. Very niiiiiice.

If you've got a Nintendo Wii and the "Everybody Votes Channel", you will like the Snapshots section as a nice little bonus.  Essentially, they ask you a poll question, you answer, then you're presented with infoporn, which I love.  The answer breaks down by Overall, Your State, and then Your City. Pretty cool use of location services.

The Pictures section is also very nicely done.  I guess if you are really, really bored it could be used to waste some of your time.
