This game is somehow cute. It’s not cute in a teddy-bear sort of way, but it’s cute in a “so simple and retro that it’s endearing” sort of way.

I debated whether I wanted to review this app. As you well know (or maybe you don’t), TapCritic isn’t your normal review site. Instead of throwing out throngs of reviews, trashing apps left and right, our goal is to find the good apps–high-profile as well as hidden gems–and let you know which ones are worth a damn.

I remember my first electronic coloring book. It was on a Tandy1000, and it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed. Unfortunately, we didn’t yet have a mouse for our machine, so I had to move around the screen using the arrow keys. One pixel at a time. (more…)

In reviewing iPhone applications, I’ve come across the same design and programming flaws time and time again. Games that would be great little finds get relegated to the massive mediocre pile, and it makes me a little sad. (more…)
