Doodle Puzzle Puzzles in a New Way.
Puzzle games are hackneyed and tired, in general. There are only so many seek-and-finds or sudoku generators out there. In a mad and silly attempt to update the puzzle game, I’ve run across a myriad of iPhone apps that add all kinds of 3D gadgets and tools and rules to their games, and the result is just a puzzling mess.
It’s nice, then, to see Doodle Puzzle pop up as a super simple new type of puzzle game. It’s concept is simple, its design is elegant, and its gameplay ranges from somewhat challenging to maddening. For all you puzzle aficionados out there, what more can you want?

I’d say that this puzzle is right-on its $0.99 price point. Sure, the developer could add some bells and whistles, but I’d rather have this straightforward version at a straightforward cost.
