StockAdvisor – All your data are belong to us!

Imagine a world where you have an idea that you put into a little machine, and that machine then takes the idea and finds all the data in real time from sources all over the world that relate to it. It then takes all that data, sorts it, files it, presents it, and ranks it. Well, that is pretty much what StockAdvisor from TradeOffNews does for your portfolio.
I am by no means a full time day trader, but I do love the market. When I came across this app, I absolutely had to get it.
When it comes to my money, I like making the most informed decisions possible. I spend countless hours researching before I take any action in the market, and StockAdvisor has made my life a lot easier.
StockAdvisor pulls info from every source out there. No more wasting time searching around all over the place looking for info on that stock idea. With StockAdvisor you just add the stock symbol to your portfolio and it immediately starts looking for “Opportunities.”
What it does next is what really makes this app shine. After it gathers all the data, it ranks it based on 3 levels of “Alpha” selling and “Beta” buying. This makes it so much more valuable than just finding news articles for you. Having them analyzed and sorted is a work of art. I have been investing long enough to know that it isn’t just numbers that always matter when it comes to stock pricing. Psychology, current market sentiment, and news sway prices. This app pulls all that info and gives you an accurate picture of the current real-time situation.
The developers have been very active in squashing bugs since the first version. They keep an updated blog with bug reports and future release info, and this kind of back and forth dialogue between developer and customer is something I love to see.
My only complaint with the app is that the interface isn’t as polished as it could be, meaning the data could be presented in a more pleasing way. I know, I know, I am always harsh when it comes to interface design, but dammit, its important even for such a sophisticated app like this one. There is something about a nice interface that make me want to use an app.
If you care at all about the market and your money, then this app is definitely worth the cost of 2 trades. It has saved me countless hours of research time.
