TapCritic – Honest iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch App Reviews

When Electronic Arts started to publish software for the iPhone, we knew it would be a matter of time before Madden would come to our favorite device. Well, Madden 10 has been released and it doesn’t disappoint.

The game loads FAST, the graphics are top-notch and the gameplay is incredible. My only complaints? Sometimes you’ll hear Madden repeat some phrases and the sound seems like an afterthought. However my complaints are minor and this should not deter you from buying this game if you are a true Madden fan.

EA has done a great job incorporating touch screen controls to their football franchise, the playbooks are in-depth and the gameplay is FAST. I love the ability to pull up a pass play and to draw different routes to your receivers. You’re done with a play and want to initiate your hurry up offense? Just shake your phone. There are so many cool things with Madden 10, you find yourself finding new things every time you play.

What’s missing? Multiplayer. EA has promised a free multiplayer update in the near future, we are really looking forward to this one. SO if you are a Madden fan and you don’t mind dishing out the $10 bucks, then Madden 10 is for you. If you are on the fence about the price, you might want to check out NFL 2010. It’s only $2.99 and it’s no slouch.
