Puzzle games are hackneyed and tired, in general. There are only so many seek-and-finds or sudoku generators out there. In a mad and silly attempt to update the puzzle game, I’ve run across a myriad of iPhone apps that add all kinds of 3D gadgets and tools and rules to their games, and the result is just a puzzling mess.
