The Itsy Bitsy Spider Climbed Up the Musical Coloring Book.

I remember my first electronic coloring book. It was on a Tandy1000, and it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed. Unfortunately, we didn’t yet have a mouse for our machine, so I had to move around the screen using the arrow keys. One pixel at a time.

It was primitive and terrible, but I loved it. Now we have a new type of digital coloring on a new platform. While there are some serious flaws with the interface and fat fingers can be a serious hindrance, Itsy Bitsy Spider by iMagine Machine is a beautiful app with a fun interface, some good features, and a really nice, kid-friendly design.

As I said, there are some serious flaws with this one so it might frustrate your little ones.  I’m hoping these get fixed in an update soon, though…even with the problems, my three-year-old niece ate it up.  And she’s really the target audience, anyway.
