Palm Pre goes after iPhone, Apple goes after Palm?

From what I hear on the internets, the new Palm Pre is pretty cool. But could Apple have a legal case against Palm for copyright infringement?

According to the guys over at SlashGear , yes. Since Palm seems to be using the multi-touch and touch screen technology which Apple holds rights to, we might see some fireworks fly.

Apple executive Tim Cook made it clear that Apple is carefully monitoring other devices, saying, ““we don’t mind competition, but if others rip off our intellectual property, we will go after them.”

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if anything comes of this.
